ABOUT US
Crafty kids is a creative crafting club for kids ages 2-12. We focus on creating innovative crafts that can work and move, like a rocket that shoots, instruments that make music, and cars that move! We also provide asthma education in fun interactive classes that use crafting as a way to keep people engaged. We make crafts that someone with asthma can use such as an asthma inhaler holder! Our activities are based on STEAM (Science, Technology, engineering, art, and math) and teach kids important problem-solving and developmental skills.

WHAT TO EXPECT
My *STEAM based classes are social and exploratory where we learn through play!
I guide students to create toys and games that they can play with afterwards.
I work with different supplies and recycled materials.
Crafty kids Club helps develop important performance skills, like fine-motor function and bilateral coordination.
*STEAM is an educational approach that incorporates science, technology, engineering, art and math .
ASTHMA EDUCATION

AGE 2-3
Playful, exploratory lessons that focus on sensory play as well as emotional, social and fine motor skill development, exposing kids to new textures and colors in every class.
AGES 4-6
The Little Adventurers classes are educational and great fun!
Social, process-driven classes that develop important performance skills.
AGES 7-12
Creative Crafters are encouraged to think outside the box and express their ideas through the process of working with different materials, designing, building, making mistakes, and envisioning creative solutions.

Welcome to Social Emotional Learning!
What is Social Emotional Learning (SEL)? SEL is the process of getting and effectively using knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to understand and manage emotions and use that understanding to build strong interpersonal skills.
These fun and creative lessons, activities, and conversations will help to identify and control emotions. Kids will learn skills needed to navigate daily life in society as well as the ability to identify and cope with overwhelming feelings/emotions. Across the 12 weeks, everyone will learn about self-discipline, impulse control, emotion management, and more in a fun creative environment! With the right social-emotional learning everyone wins!
